MY FIRST BOOK SIGNING OF THE SHATTERED VASE IS ONLY TWO DAYS AWAY!
I am so excited!
A friend of mine suggested I host a book signing at the Re:defined Coffee House in Grapevine. I went there to buy a cup of coffee a couple of times and fell in love with the atmosphere.
Everyone was intent on doing business in this coffee house. They have plenty of tables and places to park your laptop, so that you can sip your brew and get your goals accomplished. At least during the day it is a place where intellectuals congregate to engage in highly intelligent pursuits.
In the evening, when I went to visit, it was more conversational. People were chatting and telling their stories to each other over a cup of coffee or tea.
I inquired about the cost of renting a room and the green room was within my budget. So I rented it and started a marketing plan for my first book signing for The Shattered Vase.
First of all, I contacted my favorite company for advertising supplies.
I ordered some flyers advertising my book signing for The Shattered Vase.
When I got the flyers I was so impressed with the quality.
Then I got busy putting flyers on cars.
I got this idea from my wonderful hairdresser, Kasey Cutz. She not only aces my hair color every time she touches my hair, but she is also a brilliant marketer.
As I started praying about this event, God got involved. At first I put flyers on cars in the Kroger and Sam Moon parking lot, then God suggested I hit the Mardel parking lot and also Hobby Lobby and next His suggestion was library parking lots. He is truly the best!
So I went out in the heat of summer and while I was putting flyers on the cars I was interceding in prayer for others as God led me to pray. It was a bit hot, but yesterday there was a bit of a breeze and it was fine.
So when exactly is the book signing of The Shattered Vase?
